Yes, you can attach the AMAP III directly to any plate carrier with MOLLE using theAMAP III Conversion Kit that is sold separately.
Not at all. You can use it as a regular assault pack over your plate carrier if you prefer, simply by not removing the shoulder straps. The Shoulder straps are low-profile in order to be able to be worn comfortably over a plate carrier or other gear without being bulky.
Yes. You can use your AMAP III shoulder straps to carry your Edge as a stand-alone hydration pack.
Yes. The exit ports for Radio Antenna, comms/hydration tubes and ports are all completely ambidextrous and can be configured either left or right.

I bought the Agilite AMAP III Assault Pack because I wanted a small but scalable pack. A pack where I wouldn't have to worry about smacking it going through a doorframe or an excessive amount of weight while also being able to make it into a load bearing machine. It can be attached to basically anything that has molle or velcro. I have a handful of pouches inside and outside the pack that can accommodate various tool kits and gear. There is PLENTY of space. I have stuffed it with a moderate amount of equipment and there's not much of a weight change, and there's still space to go, it is also showing no signs of bulking or bulging yet. Whether im looking for a 12 hour pack or a 72 hour pack, the AMAP III has me covered. If for some reason you can't get it to attach to a plate carrier, check for some attachment add ons. Eberlestock has some buckles, and Whiskey Two-Four has some attachments for minimalist carriers. Various companies also sell the AMAP Conversion Kit. It will work.
So...things being what they are today, I carry around a plate carrier in my truck. Especially when I go to pick my kids up from school. I built out a Velocity Systems LEPC and use one of thier placards. That being said, amongst the other Agilite stuff i use, I keep the AMAP III attached, empty except for a hydration bladder, just in case I need to shove anythingin there for some reason. Feels great and isn't too big (I was worried it might be). Everything fits nicely in the bag I keep it in even with the AMAP III attached which is a plus.

Love the bag, it’s very useful for some range days, espacially to keep your helmet packed. Since I don’t own a Agilite plate carrier yet I think of buying one or the attachment for all plate carriers. The sizing is great, very good quality, currently using it as a daypack in my recon unit, handles well and some other guys are impressed by the AMAP 3 also :)
Amazing quality and came super fast. I also got the mag pouches for duty law enforcement duty use. The best mag pouches I’ve ran. I hope agilite has plans in the future for handcuff pouches and possibly radio pouches in Molle!
