This review is based on two months of repeated real world use rather than first impressions. I've structured the assessment around the areas that matter most during extended range use: dexterity, tactile feedback, grip, heat management, comfort and durability.
Background
I've been using the Agilite M-PACT Gloves as part of my range kit for the past two months.
During this period, they have been used through approximately 15 shooting sessions, generally lasting 3–4 hours per session, as well as during additional training and outdoor activities.
The purpose of this review was to evaluate the gloves through repeated real-world use, focusing on dexterity, tactile feedback, grip, comfort, heat management, fit and durability.
Timeline Tested
Testing period: 2 months
Range sessions: ~15
Average session: 3–4 hours
Estimated cumulative use: ~45–60 hours
The gloves have been used consistently throughout this period rather than being reserved for occasional range use.
Testing Conditions
Testing has included repeated range sessions, extended periods of wear and additional training/outdoor activities.
One of the most demanding sessions took place in approximately 33-35°C ambient temperature.
This provided a particularly useful opportunity to evaluate heat buildup, comfort and hand fatigue during prolonged wear.
SUSTAIN — What Works
Dexterity & Tactile Feedback
This is the area where the M-PACT has impressed me the most.
The semi-fingerless configuration provides a very effective balance between protection and manual dexterity.
During approximately 15 range sessions, I have not experienced the gloves interfering with fine motor control or equipment manipulation.
The exposed fingertips maintain direct tactile feedback, while the protective elements on the back of the hand provide additional coverage without making the glove feel excessively restrictive.
For my use, this balance is one of the strongest characteristics of the design.
Grip & Equipment Manipulation
Grip performance has remained consistent throughout the testing period.
During extended range sessions, I have not experienced noticeable loss of grip or a reduction in tactile control.
The palm provides a secure interface with my equipment while maintaining enough sensitivity for precise manipulation.
What I particularly appreciate is that the gloves don't require me to consciously compensate for them. After repeated use, the interaction between the glove and my equipment feels natural.
Heat Management
Heat management was one of the aspects I specifically wanted to evaluate.
During a session conducted at approximately 35°C, the gloves remained comfortable during extended wear.
Despite the environmental conditions, I did not experience excessive heat buildup or discomfort that would make me want to remove the gloves during the session.
For anyone using gloves during extended range sessions in hot environments, this has been one of the more noticeable strengths during my testing.
Protection & Extended Wear
The M-PACT construction provides useful protection without making the gloves feel excessively bulky.
Across sessions, I have not experienced significant pressure points, discomfort or hand fatigue that I would attribute to the gloves.
The protective elements remain present without becoming intrusive during normal use.
For me, the important factor is the balance between protection and mobility, rather than simply maximizing protection.
DURABILITY
After approximately 45–60 hours of cumulative use, I have observed:
No stitching failures
No issues with the wrist closure
No fit degradation
No significant material failure
No noticeable degradation in grip performance
The gloves have remained consistent throughout the current testing period.
They are being used as working range equipment, so the absence of noticeable performance degradation after repeated sessions is an important positive.
IMPROVES
This is the area where I have the least negative feedback at the current stage of testing.
After two months and approximately 15 range sessions, I have not identified a specific failure point or performance issue that I would currently recommend changing.
I have specifically been monitoring:
Stitching
Wrist retention
Palm wear
Pressure points
Heat buildup
Dexterity
Tactile feedback
Overall fit
So far, none of these areas has presented a meaningful issue in my use.
The main area I would continue to evaluate is long-term durability.
Two months and approximately 15 sessions provide a useful initial assessment, but I would be interested to see how the materials, stitching and palm perform after 6–12 months of regular use.
That would provide a much stronger indication of long-term durability under repeated use.
